Antiquing in Old Towne Orange

Old Towne Orange

A few weekends ago Chad and I went to Old Towne Orange to do a little antiquing. Old Towne Orange is so cute! It’s full of of buildings and shops that all give off a strong 20’s vibe. We strolled through the many antique stores that Old Towne had to offer. We looked at everything from vintage clothing and toys, to home decor and garden furniture. While we saw a lot of unique things, we ended up striking out. We were hunting for front porch furniture and garden pottery (if you find something that looks cool, let me know!).

We ended our day with dinner at a Cuban restaurant, Felix’s. Honestly, this was the best Cuban food I have ever had! I ordered the “Corona del Mar” which was crepes stuffed with crab meat; absolutely delicious! I highly recommend visiting this cute outdoor cafe. It was only $9 a plate, which includes a generous helping of maduros for dessert.

My favorite place to go antiqueing was with my Grandma. We would go to Waynesville , Ohio and thete were so many quaint shops and it was always a special day. My parents also love/loved antiques and I’m blessed to have been raised to appreciate family heirlooms and finding a special treasure in a shop or anywhere we may end up on an adventure.
Living in Florida now I just recently found a wonderful town along the beach with incredible gems.

That sounds so nice that you went antiquing with your grandma! I certainly enjoyed our many visits to the Copper Possum 🙂
