For Christmas we decided to visit Carmel Valley. It’s the cutest town ever. When we arrived, they were having a Gingerbread house party and we decided that that was something we couldn’t pass up.
They served appetizers, wine and sugar cookies. There were about 30 – 40 people there, many groups of families.
Carrie, the owner of the Hofsas House, has put on this fundraiser for the past four years. It’s designed to raise money for the local library. A cause we can certainly get behind!
Chad and I had loads of fun designing our own Gingerbread house. We used gummies, sprinkles, candies and tons of icing to create the look of our house.
If you’re looking for something fun to do next year, consider visiting the Hofsas House for their annual Gingerbread House making party.
